This week, the amazing Anna McKenzie joins us to share about becoming a full-time needlepoint designer. She unapologetically uses her craft to point to Jesus and for that I’m grateful. She talks about transitioning from a corporate job to a full time artist and the leap of faith she took to make the switch. She also shares about where she finds inspiration for her designs and the process of taking an idea to a finished project.
I have proclaimed 2025 as the Year of Needlepoint and It was pure fun to talk to Anna about her journey into this world and how she seeks to use her talent to point us to the one from which our hope comes from – Jesus!
To learn more about Anna – you can find her @AnnaMcKenzieStudio or visit Atlantic Blue Canvas to see her portfolio. I just bought her “Yes and Amen” canvas and can’t wait to get started.
