In this episode, we’re talking to someone whose story is shared by hundreds across Central Pennsylvania—the story of the Steelton steel plant. After more than a century in operation, the plant has shut down, leaving more than 500 workers without jobs and shaking the foundation of an entire community. We’ll hear firsthand from a longtime employee and union member who not only worked side by side with his son at the mill, but was a key employee of the plant. He’ll share what this closure means for working families, local businesses, and the broader fight to keep American manufacturing alive. This is a conversation about resilience, economic shifts, and the real-life consequences of decisions made far beyond our region.
