Today I chat to Lucy Jane who started off as a young fashion blogger in Manchester to now being a prominent advocate for stoma awareness after being diagnosed with ulcerative colitis and opting to have surgery and live with a stoma bag at just 19. Six years on, we talk about the challenges of living with a stoma bag, how she is breaking down the stigma, and how her experiences have shaped her confidence and approach to fashion. We also reflects on Lucys dating life post-surgery, her experience on the show First Dates, and her aspirations to raise awareness for chronic illnesses through her platform.
Lucy is so lovely and what she’s doing to raise awareness and shout about being sexy and fashionable even with a visible difference is exactly what I’m all about so sit back, grab a cuppa and enjoy.
