Shawn Larson has been with Avenue Consultants since 2013, leading their traffic signal operations team and optimizing hundreds of intersections across multiple states.
An expert in traffic signal operations, he has played a key role in developing Automated Traffic Signal Performance Measures (ATSPM), including innovations like Green Time Utilization and the Time-Space Diagram.
Derek Lowe joined Avenue Consultants in 2023 with over 20 years of software development experience, including more than a decade at UDOT, where he helped develop key traffic analytics tools like ATSPM.
He now leads a team focused on advancing UDOT’s ATSPM system and creating innovative software for transportation agencies.
