The seventeenth episode of UNSCRIPT’D (00:00) w/ guest LB Towns Jr, who is in his last year at Howard University, begins with a dive into his early upbringing (1:10) including having to grow up fast due to his oldest sister dealing with cognitive issues and almost dying (3:56). Fast forward, senior year of high school his house burns down (7:57) and he takes us through how he was able to manage life through that tough time. He get into when exactly Howard comes into the picture (12:26) before talking about the moment he found his father was having a stroke during his freshman year (17:21). We dive into the “benefits” of Howard elitism that are overlooked and end the conversation with him explaining the mission and purpose of his non-profit “Save The Youth Foundation” (28:14).
