Chris and I(Ricky Villanueva) met while in the Leadership Development Program with Chick-fil-A Inc. on assignment to open a restaurant in Ohio. We reconnected in the Summer of 2024 on LinkedIn and as I saw an opportunity to start a podcast, I reached out to Chris to help me co-host. Chris and I shared our stories and were inspired to make this dream a reality. Chris has over a decade of restaurant experience and his story will provide inspiration, clarity, and impact on your personal journey. Tune in for our fifth episode of The Leader’s Table with Dakota Berry, currently the Operator of St. Charles FSU in St. Charles, MO! I had a great conversation with Dakota and did my best to channel my inner Chris Lipscomb as he unfortunately was not able to join us. Dakota and I both were in LDP but we did not cross paths as we were in the program around the same time but different stages of our journey. Dakota and I have been connected on LinkedIn for some time and loved how he was impacting his team. I reached out to Dakota as I knew he could provide insight, inspiration, and encouragement to others. Dakota joins me to dive into topics from staying grounded through challenges to persevering through those challenges to the grit you must have to move forward. Dakota brings a wealth of knowledge and we hope this episode can inspire all different roles in the restaurant industry!
