This week, we are welcoming Eric LeVine onto the Long Island Legends Podcast!
Chef Eric LeVine grew up in Brooklyn, trained at the Culinary Institute of America, and launched his career under celebrity chef David Burke at the River Café. He went on to become Chef de Cuisine at the Marriott Marquis in NYC, earning wide recognition for blending international flavors with modern technique.
His accolades include six invitations to host dinners at the James Beard House, the International Chef's Association's Creative Caterer and Chef of the Year (the only American to receive both), a three-star New York Times rating for his restaurant Pleiades, and multiple ”Best Chef of Long Island” honors. He became the 2011 Chopped Champion on the Food Network and has made numerous appearances on major networks.
Chef Eric has authored multiple cookbooks and is currently Chef/Partner at several Long Island establishments, including Vico and 317 Main Street. He is also actively involved with organizations including the American Cancer Society, as he’s a six- time cancer survivor.
