Episode 73 of the FocalFlip Podcast features Todd Humphrey, Head Coach of the Boone County High School boys basketball program and Youth Services Coordinator — a leader who is impacting students both on the court and in the classroom. 🏀
Todd’s story starts in Northern Kentucky where he grew up playing basketball at the legendary Randolph Park, one of the most respected proving grounds for hoopers in the area. A graduate of Holmes High School, Todd went on to continue his basketball journey at Lindsey Wilson College before returning home to serve the next generation.
Now in his second year as Head Coach of Boone County’s boys basketball program, Todd previously led the Boone girls program, where he even had the opportunity to coach his younger sister for two seasons — a unique experience that shaped his perspective on leadership, family, and mentorship.
But Todd’s impact goes far beyond basketball.
As the Youth Services Coordinator at Boone County High School, he works daily to remove barriers that prevent students from attending school, helping families navigate real-life challenges so kids have a chance to succeed.
