Emmanuel is forced to realize that Gianni seems to suffer from a very early form of Alzheimer’s, or some other mental disorder that is creating frightening gaps in his memory. The boy, although full of anguish, rejects Antonia’s advances: he feels even closer to the man he loves and tries to help him as best he can. can.
