In this fourth episode of Olameinu, I had the special opportunity to visit Rav Yaakov Tatz in London, where he lives and teaches. Rav Yaakov has been deeply involved with Olami Germany for years—including joining us on our unforgettable trip to Thailand—and is known as a gifted educator with a rare ability to connect deeply with people.
In this conversation, we explore what it really means to connect to those around us—especially our children, teenagers, and partners. Rav Yaakov shares insights from his journey as a teacher and mentor, and shows us how true listening goes far beyond hearing words.
We speak about how to tune in to what someone needs, not just what they say. It’s a conversation about attention, empathy, and how small moments of real connection can transform our relationships.
Whether you’re a parent, educator, or just someone who wants deeper relationships, this episode is filled with timeless wisdom and practical tools.
