Based on a small town but it has a fictitious name
Trying to capture what a real family would go through in this situation.
Book two has nothing to do with surfing. It is an analogy.
Teaching did influence but it is always something she has been interested in.

Guest Bio:
Tricia Trevaskis lives in the South West of Western Australia. Born and raised in Geelong, Victoria, she studied teaching, before completing her Bachelor of Arts at Deakin University, majoring in Creative Writing. Apart from a short stint as a journalist, Tricia taught for over forty years, in various Primary Schools, in Victoria, New South Wales and W.A. An avid reader, Tricia considers reading one of the joys of life. During her long teaching career, the challenge to pass on her love of literature was a firm priority, and as a teacher, she was always interested and enthusiastic about teaching children to love reading, and write well. Tricia and her family have relocated several times, across Australia, but consider the beaches, and beautiful natural environment of the South West, home. She enjoys pottering in her garden, travelling, walking and playing golf. She is married to Greg, who she met at seventeen, and has four children and six grandchildren. Tricia writes stories with strong relationships, and characters that readers can identify with and appreciate.The Wildcards (Book Reality 2022) was her debut novel and she is currently working on a children’s picture story book.
