A lot of things make peoples skin crawl bit we still watch crime shows
Wrote book to experience characters that are on the fringes of society
Character has proclivity (mental disorder) but doesn’t act on it.
How people deal with mental disorders
Discusses repugnance of pedophilia
Does not glorify and sense of abuse.
The more you isolate people limits the opportunity for empathy
