Weight loss and Wellness for women over 45 in perimenopause and menopause with Nutritionist Stacey Nicole Smith.
Empowering you with the knowledge to live confidently in a body you love, so you can thrive over 45.
In today's episode we discuss a big topic for weight loss – carbs.
It's common for a lot of women when trying to lose weight to go on a low carb diet.
And then get frustrated because it's hard to stick to and will inevitably end up gaining the weight back (and then some).
This can be even more frustrating as a woman experiencing the hormonal shifts of perimenopause and menopause.
It can be tough and then you feel like your body is broken and that you won't be able to lose weight.
The very good news is – you can (and should!) be eating carbs for weight loss as a woman over 40.
In today's episode we dive into why they're not only important, but essential and some examples of foods to include daily.
I also put together a free carbs guide for you including some meal options with the right amounts of healthy carbs. You can grab yours for free at the first link in my bio, or here:
