Two brothers from Aōtearoa New Zealand, sharing truths and stories through laughter, love and mana.
Hosted by Zak & Jake Martin
In this episode we sit down with professional boxer, Mea Motu.
We discuss her recent defeat against Ellie Scotney in a unification world title fight and the learnings that came from her first loss. We go deep into Mea’s journey as a mother and the sacrifices her kids have made while she chases her dream. Mea talks about being hospitalised after the fight and the message her son sent her which carried her home. Finally, we talk about the future and what she wants to do next.
A beautiful story of a fighter but more importantly a mother and the journey of navigating both worlds.
