Dr William Alvarez, a long time friend, has been a practicing forensic psychologist for nearly 40 years. He has evaluated thousands of prisoners serving sentences for violent crimes to assess their readiness for parole. He also spent years working on child custody cases in an effort to determine parents’ suitability for custody. Practicing in California, he discusses the six criteria that ultimately determine the fate of prisoners seeking their freedom. Several tragedies early in life led him to seek answers to why different people experiencing the same events react differently. Please join me for a fascinating look into a world most of us never glimpse.
