In this debut episode of Built on Foundations, we dive into the story behind Foundations – how it all began and the journey leading up to our first ever Scratch Night: Volume 1, held in November 2024. We discuss the importance of creating local creative hubs, the challenges of pursuing success in the North, and why spaces like this matter for emerging artists.
We also sit down with two incredible performers from our upcoming Scratch Night on 9th May 2025 at Harry’s Bar, Wakefield. We found out all about Jasmine Heaton and Thomas Carruthers, to talking about their work, process, and what audiences can expect from volume 2.
