Podcast Description

Folkestone is a wonderful town on the south east coast of Kent. It has, for centuries, been known first as a fishing town, then a resort created by Victorian architects for visitors from far and wide to travel to, to promenade and for over a century, travel to France by sea. With the arrival of the Channel Tunnel, which Folkestone is the terminus of, came the erosion of the town and the disappearance of it's ferry business and the knock on effect on the town and many of it's small businesses. We talk to them to put them on-air. To be on a show email [email protected] / goto voxiferi.com
