In this episode of The Collective Thread, Cole Hunter and Shane Boyd unpack a phrase that has changed the way they see faith:
”Don’t let your God stories grow cobwebs.”
God stories should not only remind us what Jesus did years ago. They should help us recognize what He is doing today. But when those stories sit untouched for too long, the details can become distorted, the focus can shift toward people, ministries or ourselves, and Jesus can stop receiving the credit He deserves.
This episode is a challenge to:
Keep talking about what Jesus has done.
Pay attention to what He is doing now.
Stop disqualifying people before God has finished writing their story.
Give Jesus the credit. And remain surrendered enough to follow Him into ordinary places that may already contain miracles in the making.
Scriptures referenced:
Hebrews 4:12
John 6:44
John 16
1 Corinthians 3:6-7
