On Season 3 Episode 12 of Little Warriors the podcast, host Rebecca Horan talks to Sarah Kelly. Sarah is a speech and language therapist based in Dublin, she has also developed useful toys for her own business Playeasy,ie in conjunction with her work as a speech therapist and she runs her own clinic. Sarah is a married mum of three and she charts the process of getting a child the assistance they need when it comes to speech therapy, whether it is a speech delay, an autism diagnosis or additional help required Sarah explains how it works and what a child and parent needs. She also discussed the challenges we face in Ireland getting access to speech therapists at a time when they are in such high demand. Finally Sarah spoke very openly to Rebecca about the harrowing loss of her son following childbirth, how it impacted her an her family and how she deals with it still and always will.
