Podcast Description

Advocate is a daily podcast where citizens aspire to eradicate the silence of good people who allow bad things to happen; just for choosing to remain quiet. My listeners want to speak out, but find themselves constantly fighting and bickering with those who espouse opposing biases. Due to entrenched feelings about race, they find that any effort to express dialog yields very few positive benefits and countless many negative outcomes. These outcomes invariably lead to greater social anxiety and feelings of despair. Advocate (the podcast), teaches open minded citizens to advocate responsively and respectfully; bringing people together as allies. During this process, we can together provide a new and glorious path forward for all. Advocate is a podcast that instructs people on how to advocate for change with the end in mind: social tolerance; racial equality, and empathy to support marginalized communities. The conversations we have are based on the teachings of my latest book entitled: “Shadow Tolerance: Your guide to accepting racial difference”.
