We are excited to share the latest episode of RLB’s podcast series, ”Curious Conversations,” hosted by Julian Henley, Partner at RLB. For Episode 9, we are joined by Racheal Johnson, Director at Social.
In this episode, from her love of language, writing, and background in communications, Racheal offers insight on how curiosity transforms discussion; creating positive social change. Drawing from her experience living in rural Japan, she notes the dying art of engaging questions, and the contrast of Japan’s infrastructure development to the UK’s. Racheal sees the future of the built environment as the collaboration between the private sector, public sector and communities as integral to the future of the built environment in defining the purpose of our places.
As part of RLB’s Curious Conversations initiative, we have donated to Racheal’s chosen charity, Rubies Charity, which was set up after a 2016 study concluded that girls growing up in Middlesbrough were the most disadvantaged in England & Wales. The charity supports girls from Middlesbrough build confidence and self-esteem.
