Interviews from Breckenridge Jerryland USA
In Episode 2 of Certified Jerry, we sit down with the inspiring Kelsey Tainsh, a former world champion wakeboarder turned motivational speaker and adaptive snowboarder. At just 5 years old, Kelsey faced her first battle with a brain tumor—and won. Ten years later, a second tumor and the resulting stroke during surgery left her with limited mobility and impaired sight on her right side. But that didn’t stop Kelsey.
Now cancer-free, she has channeled her resilience and passion into motivational speaking, sharing her powerful story around the world. On the mountain, through the incredible support of Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center (BOEC) and the generosity of companies like Burton, Kelsey has rediscovered her love for sport by snowboarding, defying her physical limitations and shredding with the best of ’em.
Join us as Kelsey shares her remarkable journey—overcoming unimaginable challenges, embracing adaptive sports, and inspiring others to chase their dreams, no matter the obstacles.
Stick around until the end of the episode for an exciting surprise that celebrates and supports Kelsey’s incredible journey ahead.
