I’m sitting down with Mark Zimmer known as “The Barefoot Paddler.” He just completed his mapping of the Boundary Waters, the portage trails, routs, hiking trails and logging all camp sites, all barefoot. We talk about that, how he came to live his unique lifestyle, we talk barefooting, and general outdoor banter. I’d say the conversation gets better as we get into it, and this was a really special interview. At the end I’ll do a bit of paddling and Outdoor News so stick around for that.
I caught up with him in the Northern Minnesota woods and we had a nice chat around the fire. I let the conversation run its natural course and I hope you watch to the end.
Thanks for tuning in and please subscribe for more outdoor conversations, adventures and other outdoor nonsense.
