Nihal Arthankayake who is of Sri Lankan descent, has been at the forefront of supporting artists from the Indian subcontinent in Britain. He’s played a key role in shaping the future for Indian creatives in Britain, from launching Bombay Bronx, which gave a platform to many emerging artists who are now hugely successful, to interviewing so many creatives on the BBC Asian Network, to now venturing into being a professional comedian as well as podcasting.
