Our guest this week, William Adams, owes his start in software to the most unexpected of tech mentors: a podiatrist. Adams’s podiatrist handed him a programming book to pass the time while recovering from a foot surgery. This ended up igniting a passion that would span 35+ years in tech. Today, he’s a Seattle-area software veteran, co-founder of Adimation, ex-Microsoft engineer, and the founder of Tequity, his mission to democratize ownership of the tech and AI boom so that underrepresented communities can build generational wealth.
