In this episode I sit down with my dad, Michael Millin, to talk about the highs and lows of his life. We get into how he grew up, the physical and emotional abuse that he endured with his parents that would later impact my own life in the form of generational trauma. He shares how he built a successful business, traveled the world, battled addiction, and ultimately lost everything. This episode is not for the faint of heart but helps to provide insight into the destruction that alcoholism and generational trauma can cause and how to navigate changing your circumstances.
If you are struggling with depression, suicidal thoughts, or addiction, please know that it is okay to ask for help.
