Do you know what an ambassador does? They speak and act on behalf of another person, group, or organization. To put this in perspective, an ambassador of the U.S. has the power to make vital decisions and to form policy with other nations that directly impact the wellbeing of the United States.
You may think this a distant concept, but I’m willing to bet you have ambassadors all around. The captain of the football team, the class president, the leaders of school clubs-they all represent their different groups and act in their best interest.
Likewise, our passages show us that God has purposed us to serve the role of ambassador. Christ-followers are always in the business of reconciliation. Whether it is introducing some one to Jesus or solving a dispute between one another, we are always pointing back to the Gospel for all things.
