It´s an honor to introduce Tonya Pinkins,
Tony Award-winning actress, director, singer and writer, and in her own words an artivist-actorpreneur. A force of nature on stage and beyond, she is known for her various roles on Broadway and in TV. Her debut feature film `Red Pill´ was an official selection at the 2021 Pan African Film Festival, won the Best Black Lives Matter Feature among other awards and is nominated in numerous festivals around the globe.
Our paths crossed at the IBTS (International Black Theatre Summit) in Accra, Ghana.
Join us by the beach as we dive into her journey into acting and art, navigating through different art forms as a multi-hyphenate artist, and talk about her recent works and how to stay centered in truth and in search for brilliance no matter the circumstances.
