Welcome to “Shook-Ow… At The Buzzer” with me your host, E! The Boston Celtics just got a massive boost. Jayson Tatum (IG:@jaysontatum0) has officially returned after suffering a ruptured Achilles tendon in Game 4 of last year’s NBA playoff semifinals, and the comeback happened in less than 10 months. That kind of recovery is rare in the NBA, and the timing of this return couldn’t be better if you ask me. With the Boston Celtics currently sitting as the second seed in the Eastern Conference standings, Tatum’s return could completely shift the NBA championship race. Does his return move the Celtics into being true contender? Plus, I’ll react to a clip from “Locked On Celtics” discussing JT’s comeback. Next, I want to get into an exciting race in the NBA and no it’s not the MVP race instead it’s the Rookie Of The Year race. Cooper Flagg (IG:@cooper_flagg) of the Dallas Mavericks entered the season as the favorite, while VJ Edgecombe (IG:@vj.edgecombe) of the Philadelphia 76ers looked to be a contender early for the award. But now a new name is taking over the conversation—Kon Knueppel (IG:@kon2knueppel) of the rising Charlotte Hornets. With Charlotte climbing in the East, many analysts believe Knueppel has taken the lead in the 2026 Rookie of the Year race. I react to a clip from Inside the NBA and give my full breakdown of who should win ROTY. All that is next right here, on “Shook-Ow…At The Buzzer”. Please make sure to hit that follow button on Spotify, comment and share the show if you like what you heard! Thanks in advance…peace.
