A story of a young boy who grew up in a drug and gang infested neighborhood, in Fort Worth, TX. Pedro “Kiki” Criado found solace and strength in the unwavering faith of this mother. She often turned to her favorite scripture Psalms 91:1, which speaks of finding refuge and safety in God.
Pedro’s mother instilled in him the belief that he could rise above his circumstances. Inspired by her faith, he dedicated himself to transforming his future.
Through perseverance and commitment to serve, he climbed the ranks within the Fort Worth Police department and made a significant impact in his role.
He rose to the position of Deputy Chief, embodying the true spirit of community service and protection. His journey stands as a testament to the power of faith, and the resilience of the human spirit proving that one can rise from adversity to become a beacon of light for others. He became the essence of 911.
