SLOBcast 0068 is an interview of Katherine Rye Jewell, Professor of History, Fitchburg State University, and author of “LIVE FROM THE UNDERGROUND – A History of College Radio” and Christian Anderson Professor of Higher Education and Director, Museum of Education at The University of South Carolina on the origins of College Radio and WUSC. This aired on WUSC-FM on May 4, 2026 just after the 80th anniversary of WUSC receiving it’s Certification of Incorporation that was received on May 1, 1946.
