As we enter into a new month and a new season, this week I’m tucking into a solo episode and I want to drop in with something real, something a bit raw.
We’re talking about the trap of perfectionism and the pressure to be performative. I’m not here to give answers, but to open a door maybe even hold up a mirror.
Everyone’s been through something. Big, challenging, painful. You, me, our guests and we’ve all carried something heavy. What’s wild is how those experiences shape us… stretch us… and if we let them, they build us.
Just like training. Time under tension. That’s how growth happens. It’s uncomfortable. It hurts sometimes. But it also forges resilience, clarity and truth.
That’s how strength is formed, not just in the gym but in life.
So this week’s invitation is to ask yourself, ‘Am I performing or am I present?’.
