This week’s episode is a little different—and a lot less polished. I hit record on the drive home from a few days in Illinois and recapped where things stand on our lease farms, what we’re working toward this fall and the time we spent with Chris Brackett in Knox County.
The weather kept us from getting any actual work done there, but Chris is going to help us lay out and install the food plots—and spending time with somebody who knows whitetails and habitat like he does is never wasted.
Between flooded roads, detours and trying to find my way back to Ohio, I let the recorder run and shared some honest thoughts about the farms, the plans and what I’m learning along the way.
No studio. No polished outline. Just a windshield recap from Illinois.
