Dr. Allison Black is a dedicated veterinarian and the Team Lead for The Street Dog Coalition's Denver chapter, a nonprofit organization providing free veterinary care to pets of people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Originally from Texas, Dr. Black earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M University in 2018 and has been immersed in animal welfare ever since.
She is passionate about improving the quality of life for pets and their people, regardless of their available resources, and strongly believes in keeping families—including their four-legged members—together through compassionate, community-focused care. Dr. Black thrives in the dynamic world of high-volume and shelter veterinary medicine and is always up for a challenge.
