The Fastest Show in Sports
The Fastest Show in Sports
Podcast Description
Award winning sportscaster Ed Berliner delivers ”The Fastest Show in Sports” with a cast of thousands (or perhaps hundreds depending on the day and time) where no subject is off-limits, no discussion has to bow to the PR Director of any team, and where the conversation could go well off the sports track and wander into something humorous, humble, engaging, enraging, controversial and without peer anywhere in the known broadcast universe. Hey, always better to be positive than suck around for compliments.

Content Themes
The podcast covers a wide array of content themes including unforgettable sports memories, iconic sports figures, and candid industry commentary. Episodes feature engaging stories such as the legendary locker room rant of Cubs manager Lee Elia and the life of baseball writer Mike Shalin discussing the Red Sox and Yankees rivalries, emphasizing personal anecdotes and long-lost stories in the sport.

Emmy Award winning sportscaster Ed Berliner and his guests leave nothing on the table. They also don’t deal in rumors, character assassination, idiotic wanderings, insults or bullshit. There’s never been a more honest show that runs the gamut on topics and fears no corporate master.
Tua Tagovailoa is finally gone from the Miami Dolphins, having moved on swiftly to the Atlanta Falcons. Whiners and media weezers can all be happy now that they have removed this “scourge” from the franchise. Of course, this still leaves the Dolphins in a rebuilding mode as a major NFL dumpster fire, the future is not as bright as many would hope, and the person most responsible for this nightmare is still being let off the hook because of his money and power. Ed Berliner takes it right to the heart of the problem in owner Stephen Ross. Look, he might be a nice guy in person, but his lack of commitment to the franchise will leave long-suffering fans with very little to be thrilled about in the coming seasons.
