Episode 3: Entrepreneurialism
Join us on a journey through the Social Innovation Hub’s Indigenous Tech Showcase, where we go beyond the textbook to learn about Indigenous perspectives to social entrepreneurship. In this episode, we speak with Adaeze Hubbard from the Social Innovation Hub and local Indigenous founders James McInnes, Joshua Day Chief, and Colby Delorme. Through shared experiences, stories and insights, we learn about showcases and investor circles as alternatives to Western-style pitch competitions. This conversation highlights the value of networking, community, family, future-focused solutions and Indigenous ethical protocol to explore Indigenous-informed approaches to social innovation.
