After having experience organizing a Republican club in high school, Tyler brought that same energy to Utah’s college political scene and became deeply involved with the Utah Federation of College Republicans (UFCR). Alongside a rising generation of student leaders—including Riley Beesley and Kai Schwemmer—the organization expanded its presence and activity across Utah universities. Today, Riley Beesley serves as UFCR chairman at the University of Utah (UofU), while Kai Schwemmer serves as vice chairman from BYU. Utah Federation of College Republicans Tyler and Riley also co-wrote UFCR’s 2025 constitution and bylaws. But Tyler’s story didn’t stop with Republican campus politics. Today, Tyler serves as Utah State Director for the American Conservation Coalition, bringing a conservative perspective to debates surrounding conservation, the environment, climate change, energy and Utah water.
