Podcast Description
LAUNCH: 3/7/2025Why should we make sourdough? Why is it important to farm sustainably? I fanatically need to know not just "how-to", but "why?" When I was fired from the medical system with untreatable infertility I asked a lot of "why's". I found my answers revealed in God's original design (of us and nature)- we were both CREATED HEALTHY and are undeniably connected. My perspective as a Christian color my career as a plant scientist, certified herbalist, and author. My faith in the answers I found in nature makes me a better wife, and ultimately led me to the healing I needed to become a mom. In exchange for those kids I promised to speak the truth as it was given to me. If I do this right, and don't get in the way, I think you should see the intentional design of your healthy birthright written plainly all around you in His creation and His Word. I believe our reconnection to this birthright is the "why" behind the "how" of natural health, homesteading, farming and renewed connection.

I fanatically need to know not just “how-to”, but “why?” When I was fired from the medical system with untreatable infertility I asked a lot of “why’s”. I found my answers revealed in God’s original design (of us and nature)- we were both CREATED HEALTHY and are undeniably connected.

The almighty ”If/Then” statement… part math, part logic and part contract. The clear understanding here is that there are two sides to the equation. It only works if both sides are balanced one with the other.
We are constantly being romanced, in current Western culture, into believing that somehow life will be so much sweeter if we just let someone else do it… my grandmother was perhaps in the generation where this started in the extreme. Romanced into shortcuts in the kitchen- adding aluminum into her food and her brain, eating plastic masquerading as a better butter substitute… there is no end to the destruction that ”free time” is causing to our health- physical, mental, emotional AND spiritual.
The Isrealites thought they'd be on easy street by selecting a king to rule over them. Turns out they didn't realize they were actually still on the hook for the other side of the contract. Nothing comes without a cost.
