In this episode, we explore the world of Equine Assisted Therapy with Felicity Rideout. Felicity is the principal and founder of the Equine Assisted Wellbeing Institute, specializing in training and certification of equine-assisted therapy practitioners. With a background in psychology and postgraduate studies in educational neuroscience, she brings a deep understanding of neurodiversity, trauma, and the horse-human connection. A self-confessed ‘horse-mad girl’ in her youth, she credits her horses with providing purpose, belonging, and connection during life’s toughest moments. Now, as a single parent to three neurodivergent children, Felicity combines professional expertise with lived experience to deliver an evidence-based, human-centred approach to equine-assisted therapy practitioner training.
