Contemporary art has many definitions, but a popular interpretation is that it can be defined as art made in the present day, by living artists. This means that there is a lot of space in terms of medium, message, and style. Jiha Moon is a painter, sculptor, and professor who in part uses her art to explore identities and their relationship to culture. Originating from South Korea and having spent a lot of her life in the American South, Moon sits down with host Josh Johnson to discuss her influences, mediums, and what she has learned along her artistic journey.
