On location from the Biohacking Conference in Austin, Texas, Lindsay O Neill speaks with Carrie Drinkwine, CEO and founder of the Institute of Regenerative Health, who faced a severe medical crisis following elective surgery in Peru to remove scar tissue. Despite initial success, she developed complications including internal bleeding. After initially forgoing antibiotics in favor of Nano Silver, she was persuaded to take antibiotics after a second surgery due to the risk of infection. This decision led to a rapid deterioration in her health, including allergic reactions, high fevers, and a resistant bacterial infection.
Facing life-threatening conditions and a resistant gram-negative bacteria, Carrie sought alternative treatments. She collaborated with a holistic doctor who administered Nano Silver and other natural remedies. Despite initial resistance, the Peruvian medical team worked with her, blending conventional and alternative approaches. After her body's attempt to expel the infection led to a critical moment, her doctors agreed to wash her abdomen with Nano Silver and redox solution during a third surgery without anesthesia, which remarkably led to her recovery.
Now, Carrie is thriving and sharing her experience to empower others in their health journeys. Her harrowing experience reinforced her belief in the body's intelligence and ability to heal, leading her to strengthen her mission at the Institute of Regenerative Health. She focuses on training practitioners in regenerative detox, cellular health, and empowering individuals to take control of their health through online programs and educational resources.
