I was bullied as a child and I thought I was not good enough. I carried this shame for many years. And as I went from being the ugly duckling to the confident and influential woman I am today, I want to connect with you, hear your stories, inspire you to love yourself again, and give you tips to be the most amazing self you can be. Welcome to Love Yourself Podcast. My name is Allie Henry, formerly Serrano. I just got married and I am living my dream life. I am a portrait photographer, business owner, a podcast host, a fashion stylist, a home chef, and so much more.
I am originally from the stunning Czech Republic. When I was a little girl, other kids bullied me for being for having red hair. This made me feel not confident and insecure for many years. Today, it’s what fuels my passion for helping other women never experience that feeling again.
That’s why I created my portrait photography studio, Allie Serrano Portraits, and the Love Yourself Podcast. Through both, I empower women to see their worth, embrace who they are, and stand out with confidence and authenticity.
I want to connect with other women, hear their stories, and share tools, inspiration, and experiences that help us become the most amazing versions of ourselves.

Intro: “My name is Esther E. Laurenceau, born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, East Flatbush. My family is of Haitian descent. Furthermore, I attended Metropolitan College of New York and earned my degree in human service in June 2019, and my master’s degree in public administration June 2025. “The Ugly Truth My Love Life Sucks!” stems from my last traumatic toxic relationship which led to incarceration and ruined my livelihood. After a while, I got tired of venting and seeking advice from others who could not give me a solution. I needed something more because throwing a petty party was draining. I decided to stop internalizing the pain and began journaling by jotting down my thoughts, ideas on paper which gradually turned into chapters and my first published book.
