After nearly a month away, Tim and Joseph are back catching up on everything that's happened since the last episode. Tim recaps his birthday, the never-ending house renovation, and his trip with Nikki to Arizona and the Grand Canyon, while Joseph shares his own vacation adventure that somehow ended with him buying a motorcycle. 

Tim breaks down the Grand Canyon trip from start to finish, including landing in 115-degree Phoenix, discovering that renting a hard-top Jeep for a desert adventure wasn't nearly as clever as it sounded, riding the Grand Canyon Railway, getting ”robbed” by Old West outlaws, and finally seeing the canyon in person. He also discovers that one of the biggest dangers at the Grand Canyon apparently isn't falling off a cliff. It's the squirrels, which have absolutely no respect for human authority. 

The conversation eventually moves from vacation disasters to the misery of airline travel, Nashville airport parking, kids traveling on their own, and Joseph's long-overdue trip to the doctor. After avoiding doctors for roughly 20 years, Joseph finally goes in concerned about several issues and comes away feeling like the doctor's answer to practically everything is simply: lose weight. Naturally, this reignites Tim and Joseph's ongoing weight-loss competition and the realization that December is getting dangerously close. 

It's a shorter episode, but it's pure Fairview Social: vacations, family, bad financial decisions, getting older, brotherly abuse, and two middle-aged guys slowly realizing that their bodies now have terms and conditions.
