My conversation with Malaysian singer-songwriter Anna Chong caught me completely off guard. What started off as a casual conversation about her trip to Singapore turned quickly into a deeply existential conversation about Anna’s relationship with her artistry as a musician with over 16 years of experience under her belt. It seems her relationship with her artistry not only sustains her financially and physically, but is just as much an important spiritual lifeline for her. The only catch is – we did this interview fully in Mandarin. So for those who can speak Mandarin, 我們要開始練習中文啦!For those who don’t, scrub to 33:52 for a tldr reflection from me in English about the interview! Welcoming Anna to the fluffle podcast.
