At the end of this podcast learners should be aware of the significant cardiovascular disease risk associated with menopause in women, have knowledge of the risk factors underlying cardiovascular disease during the menopause, and be familiar with the interactions between cardiovascular risk, cardiovascular disease, menopause and different hormone therapies when making clinical treatment decisions.
