A Get Set for Net Zero podcast by Property Week
This Property Week podcast has been produced for our Get Set For Net Zero campaign which aims to provide real-world insight into the challenge of reducing the property sector’s substantial carbon footprint, improving biodiversity, and moving towards nature-positive approaches.
The term ‘think global, act local’ was made popular by Friends of the Earth and has been a staple of environmental action for over 50 years. But the phrase was apparently borrowed from town planning more than a century ago.
Today, the property sector has begun to broadly recognise an important consequence of the global-local approach: the need to plan for tomorrow, while acting today.
We see this theme applied in many ways and in this podcast, Property Week editor Lem Bingley discusses topics that impact decisive action such as the risks, the costs and ROI, technology adoption, legislation, developments and retrofits, data and decision-making with Adam Hart, Vice-President Segment Sales & Partnerships at Chargepoint, Jeff Blaylock, Head of UK Client Delivery at Deepki and Kai Liebetanz, Head of Nature & Resources from our knowledge partner UKGBC.
