Hi there! My name is Gabi Motuba and I am a jazz singer and composer based in Johannesburg South Africa. In 2026 I'm beginning a new season of my podcast called The Listening Threshold. This is Season 2 of the Sonic Conversations Podcast but for the first time the podcast will not only live in sound, but also in image. Season 2 is about integrating everything I've learned so far about sound.
My hope is to share my knowledge with like minded artists, it is to understand sound design more deeply and lastly to imagine how sound might help us build new worlds!
