In this heartfelt episode of Healthy Little Moments, I’m sharing a deeply personal story about a recent health scare with my infant son that landed us in the ER and later admitted to a children’s hospital. While navigating the emotional and physical toll of caring for a sick child (while being sick myself!) I had powerful realizations about what health really means, why it matters, and how food plays a foundational role in healing and strength.
I also dive into the shocking hospital snacks offered to my recovering toddler (think: Goldfish, Fruit Roll-Ups, dye-filled Jell-O) and why this moment lit a fire in me to keep advocating for better nutrition and real wellness.
