In this deeply moving and urgent episode, I sit down with 3 voices from Minnesota who are living through events that many outside the United States are no longer hearing about: communities are still navigating the consequences of immigration (ICE) raids, heightened policing, fear, & the ripple effects these realities create in everyday life.
Through their stories, we hear about mutual aid networks, communities protecting one another, the emotional toll of living under constant pressure, and the extraordinary ways people continue to show up for each other.
As a German host, this conversation felt particularly important to hold. History has shown us what happens when people stop paying attention or assume that someone else will speak up.
