In episode 34 I visit the home of musician, Sye Mcritchie.
Growing up in Sydney, Sye's life has taken him down more than a few interesting paths, but music has always been where he's felt most at home. From a colourful and often difficult upbringing to modelling, acting, song writing, recording and performing, he's spent decades building a life around creativity. We chat about his journey through music, the role surfing has played throughout his life, and the golden era of Bondi in the 90’s & 00’s . We also discuss what eventually led him to leave the chaos behind for a quieter life in Manyana, and how renovating his home has given him the space to refocus on his music and art. Sye has lived a life full of change, and it was great to have a yarn with him and hear the stories that have shaped who he is today.
Put the feet up and get to know musician and all-round creative Sye Mcritchie.
