In episode 9 of Still Noise I have a chat with musician, Shaun Wessel aka 'Tall Shaun'.
Shaun is known as ‘Tall Shaun’ due to his extremely large physique but although his appearance may be intimidating he is a kind and gentle soul and has a heart of gold. Shaun played professional football competing at the highest level in the NRL, playing for teams such as The Manly Sea Eagles and Cronulla Sharks. He also played internationally in the European League. He now is the lead singer of Tall Shaun and the Resolution and, alongside his band, travels around serenading the country with his voice. Shaun and I discuss his transition from football to music, how he dealt with losing a close family member, fatherhood, his moment of television stardom and many other topics.
